Laurel’s Wood confirmed as Red Squirrel Habitat

We’re thrilled to announce that trail cameras recently installed by Lancashire Wildlife Trust as part of their squirrel monitoring efforts in Sefton have confirmed that red squirrels are residing in Laurel’s Wood! Having never spotted a squirrel on site, we were unsure if the cameras would capture any activity – so this news has been an exciting surprise. We’ll continue to work closely with Lancashire Wildlife Trust to ensure our special residents are protected and their habitat enhanced.
