Woodland Management Approved by Forestry Commission

It’s been an exciting month for us at Laurel’s Wood CIC, our Woodland Management Plan was approved by the Forestry Commission which means we can start works to make the woodland safe and accessible for the community. The plan is a 10-year strategy focused on ensuring the long-term health and sustainability of the woodland and outlines key goals to undertake thinning and regenerative felling, enhance biodiversity, improve access infrastructure and develop the woodland as a community space.
